We offer a full range of commercial and residential audio/visual services including, but not limited to:

Whole House Music System Pre Wire – using a 16/4 cable as well as a Cat6 data cable for almost any eventuality of system. This can accommodate either a basic volume control type situation or varieties of music systems including smart home type products.

Speakers in most cases go in ceiling or possibly in wall. When the speaker is prewired we staple up the speaker in the most usable space for sound and looks. After the drywall has been installed we can then cut out the speaker location to match Light cans or any possible furniture changes etc. this removed the need for installing and the chopping out a ring and also the need for ugly wall plates if the zone isn’t installed at a later date.

Structured Wiring – the main backbone of the Low voltage system. Services provided include:
- Basic phone service is brought to the panel and redistributed throughout the home
- Data ports are distributed throughout the home and back to a smart panel for connection to a router or switch for whole house internet connectivity
- Basic Coax feed is distributed throughout the home for a cable and /or satellite feed
- Roof location Pre Wired with coax for satellite TV, satellite Radio, Satellite internet & FM Radio antenna pre wire.
- Demarcation point prewired for phone and other services
- Additional Cat6 cable for possible Wi-Fi type internet services
- WAP location prewired for best Scenario Wi-Fi access throughout the home
- Kiwi Hifi only uses the best products available for in home networking. Our Standard supply is Honeywell USA made Cat6 Cable riser rated. Coax is Quad Shield Honeywell cable.
- Kiwi Hifi will work with your electricians or general contractor to ensure correct Electrical outlet locations and satisfactory backing will be installed for TV locations.

Vacuum System Plumbing – whole house vacuums are an incredible asset to any home. The dust is collected in one easy to access location like a garage so all the noise and allergens are safely away from the user. The vacuum system is plumbed into the house through multiple outlets. A hose then plugs into the new wall outlet and connected to a local electrical outlet for a powered brush head. Central Vacuums have many advantages over traditional systems like, less noise, more suction, no heavy appliance to haul around, and large a dust canister for months of vacuuming. We can even set up a Sweep pan in areas like the Kitchen for a quick and easy.

Video Surveillance Camera Prewire – We can pre-wire for a basic 4 camera system through large commercial applications for either IP or traditional analog cameras. Using high Grade Cat6 cable or combination of Coax and cat cable we can pre wire for almost any eventuality of Camera systems.

Audio Visual Pre Wire – the Audio Visual Pre Wire is the start of a great home music and entertainment system
- Kiwi Hifi only use the best products available for in home audio. We only use 16-12guage oxygen free, high strand copper for music and sound.
- Because we install a range of systems we will sit down and discuss your individual needs to ensure your complete satisfaction. For example do you want floor-standing speakers or in ceiling speakers.
- Kiwi Hifi will work with your electricians or general contractor to ensure correct Electrical outlet locations and satisfactory backing will be installed for TV locations.
- Kiwi Hifi pre wire TV locations with 3 x Cat6 and an additional Quad Shield RG6 Coax cable for almost any configuration of TV formats and future proofing your system.
- For in wall or Ceiling Speaker locations wires are hidden in wall rather than installed with a ring and blank plate. This allows for a cleaner “cut in” for the speaker and also eliminates the ugly ceiling blank plate if the speakers are not immediately installed.
